Poor Baby Joe has been suffering with a cold for the past few days and it’s been interrupting his two favourite things, feeding and sleeping!!! We were sent a Baby Nose Clear Nasal Aspirator and Room Vapour from 4Little1 to review just at the right time.

To use the Baby Nose Clear Nasal Aspirator simply place the nozzle at the end (not inside) your baby’s nostril and suck through the mouth piece. Any congestion will collect in the chamber which is protected by a filter to stop you getting it in your mouth!!! If your baby’s mucus is dry or sticky let just use a few drops of saline to soften it before using the aspirator.
I was a little worried about using this, but it was fantastic and really simple and I didn’t get a mouthful of snot!!! It certainly helped poor Joe and he’s been able to feed well.
The Baby Nose Clear Room Vapour is a “Snuffle Blend” of pure essential oils (Lemon, Tea Tree and Pine) which are antibacterial by nature. The fresh clean scent helps to clear your baby’s congestion and add a good night’s sleep. The Baby Nose Clear Room Vapour is also suitable from birth.
Just pop a couple of drops into a bowl of warm water or onto a damp towel placed on a radiator, this will also help to humidify the room. Alternatively it can be used with humidifiers or vaporisers. It can also be used with the Inhaler Dummy if your baby is over 3 months of age.
We popped some in a bowl of warm water and put in on top of Joe’s changing table just before he went to bed. It smells great, really refreshing, not what I was expecting! Joe went to bed and sleep very soundly, when he work the next morning he was almoast back to his usual happy self. I regularly suffer from sinuisitus and will definalty be giving this a go when it inevitably returns.
