DaisychainBaby Review

Like most of my Mum friends, I spend more time choosing and more money on my kids clothes than I do on my own (oh, barring bags that is!!)  I love dressing them in beautiful, colourful outfits but also like them to be comfortable.  When I saw that the lovely Lins from DaisychainBaby was looking for Mummy Bloggers for reviews I, of course, put my name forward.

DaisychainBaby mainly sell organic and ethical clothing for children aged 0-5 , although they do also stock some accessories and the popular Mama Pack (the ethical alternative to the “Bounty” pack).  They are passionate about an end-to-end Eco-friendly service.
Their packaging is all either recycled materials, or fully recyclable.
Even the little babygrow stickers are printed by an ISO accredited
Eco-friendly printing company! They also contribute 1% of our turnover to schemes to help protect the world for the next generation through “One Percent for the Planet”.

All of DaisychainBaby‘s products are either organic cotton (around 95%) and/or ethically sourced. They are committed to providing support to smaller businesses, especially work at home parents, so will also stock handmade items if appropriate to their collections and quality.

We received a lovely parcel from DaisychainBaby which included a gorgeous short sleeve tunic top in a lovely jade green and covered in butterflies and sparkles, along with a pair of full length black leggings for Imogen, both from Green Eyed Monster

Imogen has just started to get fussy about her clothes and will tell me what she wants to wear in the morning, and she’s only 3!!!, but this lovely outfit was a hit! Butterflies just happen to be one of Imogen’s favourite thing and she loves a bit of bling!  The detail on this top was stunning and the pockets are ideal for her to pop her Polly Pockets or her Toy story mobile in.  The turquoise/jade green really showed off her olive skin and teamed with the black leggings I hope you’ll agree that she looks gorgeous.

Lucky Joseph was sent a star shortsuit and a Wagon long sleeve T- Shirt, both from Green Cotton.  His Wagon T-Shirt was ultra soft and fitted really well.  The blue and green stripes certainly brought out the blue in his eyes, Lins certainly chose well for my kiddywinks!

Unfortunately wriggly Joe only stays still for food but you still get the effect!!

The shortset is ideal for this time of year, when layering is the key in this interchangeable weather.  It looks lovely and has been great for him to spend time “romping” around in.

All of the items that we were sent were not only stunning but perfectly made, not a stitch out of place.  They are incredibly soft and of course not being made from synthetically manufactured material meant that they won’t harm Joseph’s delicate and Imogen’s sensitive skin.  They have all  washed well and haven’t sagged, stretched or run.

It’s been lovely to see the kiddywinks in something a bit different to the main high street brands, that won’t break the bank and that are Eco-friendly.

DaisychainBaby are offering a HUGE 20% off for Me and My Kiddywinks readers, to take advantage of this great special offer please quote the promotional code REVIEW at the checkout.
