BioRepair Review

Everyone likes to treat their children from time to time but, being a paranoid parent,  I do worry about the damage that Imogen’s sweet treats do to her teeth.  She has always been good at brushing her teeth, but is that really enough?

We were sent some products from the BioRepair range to test out.

BioRepair is a toothpaste that actually repairs the damage done to tooth enamel by fizzy drinks, sugary treats and acidic foods.

So how does it work? Here’s the science bit….

When you brush your teeth with BioRepair, MICROREPAIR microparticles of hydroxyapatite are released. Hydroxyapatite is virtually identical to enamel and that’s what makes BioRepair such an effective enamel repairing toothpaste. These MICROREPAIR microparticles are so small, they can get into the tiny cracks and crevices on the surface of your teeth often caused by acid erosion. They then fill in the cracks and bind to the enamel – actively repairing tooth enamel.

BioRepair can be used daily, as you would your normal toothpaste, and does everthing that your regular toothpaste does with the added benefit of repairing tooth enamel and preventing further decay.  BioRepair has no added fluoride and therfore can safely be used by the whole family including the little ones.  It has a fresh minty taste and a smooth texture which even fussy Imogen approved of.

We’ve been using BioRepair as a family for the past couple of weeks and it’s certainly helped with the sensitivity in my teeth, although we probably won’t find out the real benefits until the next trip to the dentist.

Take a look at this video to hear Dr Girk Baytug (a dentist for over 20 years) explain the results of recent study which tested two enamel repairing toothpastes – one being BioRepair.

For more information on BioRepair take a look at their website.

BioRepair is available to purchase from Boots and Independant Pharmacies and well as online.
