It’s a brand new year and I’ve decided that it’s time for a new me! There’s not a lot wrong with the old me but I’d love to re-vamp my wardrobe, lose a bit of weight and tone up. I may even get my hair cut and re-styled seeing as it hasn’t even had a trim in a little over 12 months!!
Bad hair!
I’d also love to get the house finished. When we brought it just over two years ago we didn’t think that it would take much to get it the way we wanted but it has. In the time we’ve lived here we’ve managed to :
- Replaced the roof
- Painted the outside
- Sorted the garden and built my veggie patch
- Plastered and 90% decorated the master bedroom
- Had a new suite put in the bathroom, re-tiled and decorated
- Decorated the kitchen/diner and put new flooring down
- Decorated the box room/office and then decorated again to turn it into Joe’s room
- Given the rest of the house a lick of magnolia paint (lilac in Imogen’s room)
It may seem like an extensive list but there is still so much to do including decorating the lounge (and somehow getting rid of the huge and very weird skirting boards), plastering and decorating Imogen’s room and sorting out our attic room into my office and a playroom for the kiddywinks.
This WILL become my office!
So I am taking inspiration from the Style Network and am loving How do I Look? with Jeannie Mai (I want a drastic transformation like that) and Clean House: Messiest House, just because it makes me feel a little bit better about our house! It will get done, one day….
