Imogen bags herself every girls dream job!

Imogen loves her dolls and it’s this love that has landed her a fabulous and very important job.  Over the next few months she will be a “Little Doll Tester” for Petalina and road testing her very own doll as well as some accessories, I hear there may be a giveaway as well!

Petalina, for those of you who don’t know, is the largest retailer for dolls and and accessories in the UK, selling hundreds of high quality dolls which have been carefully selected from around the world.  It was founded in 2006 by Cate, Mum of Libby and Rosie, who’s passion for dolls started in the 1950′s when her Grandfather modelled dolls for Rosebud.  Cate grew up with Sasha dolls but when it came to finding dolls for her own daughters, she was dismayed by the poor selection readily available on the high street and online. As a result Petalina was born which Cate hopes will inspire a new generation of doll lovers and keep the dolly gene alive.

“Finding the right doll for a child can be a mindfield” says Cate. “I want Petalina to make the buying process easier by showcasing the very best dolls from around the world, all housed under one roof. It is also important that customers don’t just buy what looks good but is age appropriate too, otherwise dolls will lie at the bottom of a toy basket unloved and abandoned! I have put together a comprehensive dolls buying guide to help customers choose the right doll to ensure great pleasure is derived from them for years to come and can be handed down from generation to generation.”

See Cate’s buying guide and range of dolls www.petalina.co.uk.

Cate has hand selected a doll for Imogen which arrived late last week.  I’m not giving away any secrets just yet but it hasn’t left her side!
