Kiddy City ‘n Move Review

After testing out the Kiddy Phoenixfix Pro with Joseph I was, of course, delighted to take delivery of the Kiddy City ‘n Move Stroller.  Available in a massive 8 different colourways (think anything from black to purple and all of the oranges and reds in between) the City ‘n Move is a travel system with a difference.

I may be old fashioned but when I think of travel systems I think of HUGE bulky pushchairs that you struggle to fit into the boot of your car and swiftly pass on as soon as your child hits the 6 month stage and no longer needs a full recline.  The City ‘n Move can be used as a travel system when combined with the Kiddy Smilefix Pro Baby Buggy Seat, making it easier to transport a newborn from car to pushchair BUT by itself it is a lightweight stroller that can also be used from 6 months.

The City ‘n Move weighs only 8.5kg thanks to it’s aluminum chassis and because it has an umbrella fold it will fit into the smallest of boots.

It also boasts front swivel and lockable wheels, an adjustable foot and leg rest, large seat with breathable fabric at the sides, comfy grip handles and a padded 5 point harness, again with breathable netting and they are height adjustable too.

My favourite features of the Kiddy City ‘n Move are the bumper bar which simply flips up to allow you to get your little one in and out easily, it can also be fully removed which Joseph prefers.  The other has to be the hood, which is huge, has a peek a boo window and extends with a simple unclip to provide almost full sun protection and doubling as a snoozeshade.

The City ‘n Move also has a very generous recline which is operated with single clip and can be done one handed, with the lower part of the seat flipped up (to stop dangly legs) the City ‘n Move looks a like a very comfy place to snooze.  Joseph will even doze off sat upright in it!

The only downside to the City ‘n Move is that the basket, whilst being a generous size is pretty useless due to the fact that a large cross bar sits in the middle of it making in very inaccessible.

With an RRP of £170 the City ‘n Move is a great stroller that will see you from birth (if used as a travel system) straight through until 3 years, providing great value for money.  It comes with a few extras that you’d normally have to pay for including a cup holder (which I adore), car seat adapters and well fitting rain covers.  Other accessories are available to purchase separately including foot muffs and hand muffs and oh how I have lusted over these.
