Hello, I’m Faye a 30 (something) Mum to two beautiful children, Imogen who was 5 in March and Joseph who was 2 in January this year. I’ve been happily married to Tony for 6 years and we met at work at The Island Hotel in Tresco back in 2000. We live in sunny Torquay, Devon and brought our first house in October 2009 – it’s still work in progress and probably will be for some time!!

I did a google search for ‘whisper of pashmina’ and it brought me to your page!!I really like your blog and will read on but first of all can you tell me about the paint colour?!!!
I am thinking of putting it in my little girl’s new room and bought a tester today. She is five and doesn’t think it’s pink enough but I do!!!! What is it like on? Thanks, Fiona.
Hi Fiona, Many thanks for the comment. I love reading about how people manage to find my blog!!! The paint is lovely, my husband wasn’t too keen at first because it’s pink but we have put plum furnishings in our bedroom and it looks a bit more lilacy/pink now. I think it would be perfect in your little girl’s room because it’s not a trashy pink. Good luck and let me know how you get on. Faye x
Where’s the dance music gone?
I currently have the mothercare spin pram that we now use as a pushchair but I find that it’s still too reclined and bulky now for my 10 month baby girl. I would like a new pushchair but I don’t want to pay a fortune as the spin was £500. Do you have any suggestions.
