I love a challenge and I adore Mini Boden, if I could my children would wear nothing else, so when Boden asked me to participate in the Mini Boden Blog Off challenge I bit their hand off (virtually of course)!
I was given a budget (it was like a dream come true) and the instructions to chose an outfit for both Imogen and Joseph. Hours of browsing followed and I eventually picked these…
My selection has definitely taken a blue theme and is heavy on the chunky knits, perfect for the chilly, but sunny, Autumn day we chose to have some fun in the garden and show off their fabulous Mini Boden outfits.
At four and a half Imogen is very fussy with her clothes but loves her dress, I adore anything appliqué so it’s a favourite of mine too. It washes well and the cotton jersey fabric is hard wearing and doesn’t even need ironing! It looks fabulous with either the candy pink or the emerald green cable footless tights and I’ve ordered her some lovely Winter boots to match too. The knitted coat is now Imogen’s “Can’t be seen without” item, she wears it with jeans, dresses or leggings and it looks great with all of them.
Joseph is an active toddler and therefore needs clothes he can rough and tumble in and still look good. I chose him the knee patch trousers in navy not just because they’re adorable but because the cord fabric is durable and the patches add reinforcement to the knees. They also have a comfy drawstring waist which ideal for skinny Joe. I also chose him the When I Grow Up T-Shirt with Pirate design, which is stripped in brown and cream and features a fantastic appliqué pirate. Teamed with his chunky knit cardigan and his hat he’s ready to take on the Autumn in style.
