You may have noticed a bit of a theme on the blog recently as we, along with the rest of the country, prepare to send our little ones back to school. Our latest challenge as Poundland Ambassadors was to kit Imogen out for her start in year one Poundland style!
We took our trip to our local store yesterday, and unfortunately got caught in the middle of a thunder storm, and I was amazed at what they had to offer.
There’s a great range of stationary all at 3 for £1 and that includes everything from note books, poster paint, pens, pencils, felt tips pens and even sticky back plastic for covering books!
I’m not one for spending a fortune on Valentine’s day and certainly don’t expect it from Tony. Afterall, who has the spare cash these days? As a Poundland ambassador, Poundland sent me a variety of their Valentine’s goodies to prove that you don’t have to spend a fortune on gift’s for your loved one this Valentines.
My bundle of goodies was presented in a plastic gift bag and included a card, teddy, LED pink heart lights, floating candles, a cupcake decorating kit and heart shaped champagne flutes.
Imogen is very taken with the Pink LED heart shaped lights and they were quickly whipped away to drape over the top of her bookcase and Joseph has stolen the teddy to add to his ever growing collection. My favourite item is the cupcake decorating kit, which contains cupcake cases and little picks to stand in the top, a great way to make a home made gift that extra bit special.
Together with the gift bag this little lot would set you back all of £7.00, less than the price of a decent bottle of wine and certainly less than a bunch of supermarket flowers and that is why we
